» мышь отваливаетс при запуске иксов

Установил 6 Федору, все после установки вроде нормально и работает(кроме монтирования ntfs).

через YUM обновил конфигурацию и загрузился с нового ядра - при старте загрузки когда пишет что за сервс запускается и удачно или нет, курсор мыши есть и виден, когда запускается графический интерфейс с окном ввода аккаунта и пароля курсора не видно, но ели побегать по экрану видно что сам курсор существует, не отображается лишь его картинка.

при вводе логина и пароля вхожу в систему и появляется сообщение об ошибке

курсор не виден но если поводить видно что мышь работает, при попытке сменить настройку клавы вылетает опять это сообщение.

но я пробовал и другой конфиг(смотрите ниже) с нормального ASPLinux при нем вылетает в строку и ругается на настройки после чего сам конфигурирует файл в тот который видите выше

man xorg.conf

в первом конфиге совсем нету секции для Mouse. во втором вроде все ОК. короче разбирайтесь с тем, на что у вас ругаются иксы при запуске.
попробуйте xorgconfig - руками сконфигурируйте все для себя.

так что понятней на руском будет..

а как быть с ошибко насчет клавы???

она на чтот влияет???

короче что и как делал уже не помню - много было проб и ошибок...
один раз даже положил линух, но не охота было сдаваться - поднял.
теперь решил пойти путем эксперементов и вот к чему пиршел.

изменил файл inittab чтоб линух грузился в режим init 3

теперь при загрузки у меня иксы не стартуют.
но я введя любой акк пытаясь запустить init 5 получаю какуюто ругань что это нельзя.
но 10 из 10 раз после загрузки если я ввожу startx у меня грузятся иксы не давая никакой ошибки и мышь в них отлично функционирует.

все бы ничего и я наверно согласился бы так работать пока ктот не определится как решить эту проблему, но если я делаю логаут из иксов и потом стартую снова startx, грузит без ошибок, но курсора нет... и в пятый и в десятый раз то же самое.

результат:
припервой загрузке иксов после старта линуха все нормально, а все последующие курсор не виден, но мышь работает(можно увести ее в верхний левый угол и кликнуть, появляется меню в правом верхнем кликнуть выходит окошко дат)

кто может сказать может он в последующие разы грузит другой сценарий или чтот не выгружает после первой загрузки и в последующих это сказывается на курсоре мыши???

нет.

скорее у вас проблемы с видео. скиньте сюда /var/log/Xorg.log

новые дополнения:

1) у рута и юзера - разные разрешения экрана(видимо есть еще файлы отвечающие за эти настройки)
2) после выхода из иксов где не виден курсор в командную строку курсор в ней виден(как в любой досовской программе в виде квадратика полем в один символ) и управляется мышкой...

вопрос решен!
после установки новых дров с сайта нвидиа проблема пропала.

вердикт!

при установке Федоры-6 на машину с видео GeForce 6150 все нормально, но после обновления компонентов, в частности кернела, пропадает отображение курсора.

адаптер GeForce 6150 не способен нормально работать с ядром Линукса 2.6-18.1.2849 по умолчанию без установки родных дров.
