) В результате открыл для редактирования первый попавший сохранённый скан и после Вашего совета посмотрел - стоит галка на индексных цветах... 
, с линейкой мне больше всего понравилось, а по поводу "в индексных цветах", так тоже просто галку поменять на RGB
