Вроде подходит. В АСП 10 стоит версия 2.6.9.
Остался вопрос как его поставить. Там ведь файла install в архиве нет.

Как установить этот пакет?
Напиши конкретно, пожалуйста. Такие пакеты я ни разу не устанавливал.

Есть у меня файл *.tar.gz
Набираю в терминале ./configure, а он мне выдает

Установил АСП 9,2 все прекрасно, но мышь скачет по экрану.
Сначала сидела в углу, после установки новой мыши, начала скакать,
и кликает через раз, что делать? Мышь Genius NetScrol Eye

К конкретному файлу bttv это не имеет отношения. Я имел ввиду совсем другой исходник. А проблема моя решилась. Но все равно почему-то не хочет устанавливаться. Теперь другую ошибку выдает.

Допустим хочу установить пакет openvpn-2.0_rc16.tar.gz. Распаковываю, захожу в директорию, набираю ./configure и вот что получаю

Объясни мне, зачем ты собираешь из исходников?

Тебя бинарные пакеты не устраивают? Хочется превратить систему в необновляемую помойку?

Если да, то зачем тогда было ставить RPM-based дистрибутив?

Ставил бы какой-нибудь Slackware или Gentoo.

Не все же программы поставляются в виде rpm. Поэтому и устанавливаю так. Из всех ли tar.gz. получается сделать rpm?

./configure CC='gcc' CPP='gcc -E'

а надо:

./configure CC='gcc' CPP='gcc -E'

P.S. в следующий раз не выкладывай на pochta.ru в с расширением .txt - он его так и наровит "исправить"
