Может кто знает?
У этого почтовика в справке написанно что его можно использовать на переносном устройстве, ну там, флешка, дискета и т.п. Я сколько не возился ничего не вышло. Он всю рабочую инфу сохраняет по адрессу С:\Documents and Settings\....................
Так можно тут что то сделать или это всетаки программа только для стационарного использования.

а поддержку RSS возможно добавить? плагином каким-нить..или еще как?

Возможно, но только через фильтры.

Использую Sylpheed 2.4.3 GTK+ 2.10.13 / GLib 2.12.12 под Win32.
Можно ли заставить его рабоать с LDAP? Если да, то каким образом?

Никто не сталкивался со следующей проблемой: при отправки сообщения через гмайл, Sylpheed ругается, что произошла ошибка, но сообщение все равно отправляется?

с давних пор у меня такое творится. на работоспособность не влияет - ну и ладно, не обращаю внимания.

Sylpheed возлагает обработку спама на плечи внешнего фильтра (сейчас поддерживаются bsfilter или bogofilter). т.к. в составе программы фильтр отсутствует, его необходимо скачать и установить, включить (Меню Configuration -> Common Preferences, вкладка Junk Mail, поставить галку на Enable Junk mail control) а затем произвести настройку

В поле выполнения команды указывается ее имя (и путь, если необходимо), а при срабатывании фильтра в качестве параметра команде передается полный путь с именем файла, содержащего фильтруемое сообщение (например, для команды aaa.exe будет выполнено aaa.exe с:\sylpheed\profiles\mailboxes\mail\draft\1)

Этого зверя еще надо найти. В моей коллекции подобных програм нет, а гугль и sf.net ничего не предложили.
