Благодарю, у него в самом деле нет проблем с Gif. Хотя его интерфейс, как у ACDSee, и судя по всему у XnView, больше рассчитан на редактирование картинок. А хотелось бы чего-то ультра-минималистичного, как Fast Picture Viewer, JPEGView и встроенный в винду просмотрщик.

Тема по JPEGView пропала.

Откройте Справку IrfanView, посмотрите ключи командной строки (в частности, ключ /hide) и удивитесь.
Можно добиться полного минимализма вплоть до одной лишь рамки окна, даже без заголовка.

Можно ли изменить цвет шрифта в инфо о файле- путь, имя... (ctrl + f2)? В ini ничего не нашел.

А автор русский понимает?
Хочу попросить сделать настройку, где можно было бы выставить время перед тем как появятся квадратные кнопочки "Следующее изображение", "Предыдущее изображение" и т.д. Ну и хотелось бы чтобы время после которого эти кнопочки скрываются, тоже можно было настроить.

Сделал прогу просмотрщиком по умолчанию и удивился, отказывается через неё клавишей Delete нельзя удалить картинки :(
Ктонить знакомый с английским - напишите автору что это стандартный функционал который есть в любом просмотрщике, и JPEGView лучше на этом фоне не выделяться.

Во-первых, не только можно удалять, но по нажатию Del именно это и происходит.
А во-вторых, очень рекомендую ознакомиться с документацией, в частности, заглянуть в файл JPEGView.ini (ну, и заодно в KeyMap.txt).

Угу, сбросив этот файл на дефолтный, клавиша заработала. Ложная тревога.

Other changes:
- WebP library 0.3.0 from Google is now used.
This version supports lossy and lossless compression.
To use lossless compression with the WEBP format, select the "WEBP lossless" file format in the "File Save" dialog.
Be warned that lossless WEBP compression is very, very slow (decompression is fast however).

Я в этом туго соображаю, но это и раньше было- Ctrl+F2.

Кому не лениво, проверьте, пожалуйста, как работает слайдшоу при использовании ключей /slideshow 3 /effect blend /fullscreen.
В частности, интересует, есть ли у кого-нибудь, кроме меня, артефакты при смене изображений, выражающиеся в кратковременном наличии прозрачных областей, сквозь которые видно предыдущее изображение. Это также заметно, когда картинка в альбомной (горизонтальной) ориентации сменяется картинкой в портретной – на экране некоторое время присутствуют обе.

Тоже самое. Если каждая следующая картинка все меньше предыдущей, то чудо-коллаж на экране со случайно возникающими черными прямоугольниками по периметру.

Нужно бы написать об этом автору. На мои письма он ответил, что это не его вина, а разработчиков видеодрайверов nVidia и моего видеоадаптера, а у него всё нормально.

Как делать резче фотографии jpg в JPEGView
Нажимаю Alt +
Увеличиваю резкость до 0.5 (вижу это по показаниям через F1 и визуально на фото)
Нажимаю CTRL-S Сохраняю (Включена перезапись файла при сохранении)
Выключаю программу
Снова открываю файл
Резкость какая была до операции, такая и осталось
Что я неправильно делаю ?
Заранее спасибо за подсказку

чего обновляться перестало? этому проекту помирать нельзя!

- New command line parameter '/monitor [index]'. Shows JPEGView on the given monitor, overriding the INI file setting.
- New placeholders that can be used in user commands:
%exepath% : Path to EXE folder where JPEGView is running
%exedrive% : Drive letter of the EXE path, e.g. "c:"
- Displayed image is reloaded automatically when it changes on disk, using a file system change notifier.
The image list of the current directory is also reloaded when images are added or deleted in this directory.
To disable the file system notifier, set ReloadWhenDisplayedImageChanged=false in the INI file
- When canceling the 'Open file' dialog after startup, JPEGView is not terminated but an empty window is shown with some hints what to do.

Setting this to true will enable color management for JPEG images and TIFF images (to the extend GDI+ supports it).

- Turbo JPEG does not support embedded profiles, so GDI+ needs to be used what is much slower
- GDI+ cannot read some valid JPEG files (e.g. some grayscale JPEGs, observed with Windows XP)
Notice that GDI+ does not support V4 ICC color profiles in Windows XP. It does support these in Windows 7/8.
- New INI file settings:
DefaultGUIFont=fontName fontSize [bold]
FileNameFont=fontName fontSize [bold]
Enables to change the GUI font, its size in points and its weight
- Esc key can now be re-defined in keymap (e.g. to display to 'Open file' dialog)

Bugs fixed:
- Read ahead no longer turned off when failed to read one image
- Fixed loading error of JPEGs with EXIF data and IDF1 section missing
- Blending issues with nVidia cards fixed (hopefully now works correctly in all situations)
- Fixed (sporadic) crash when deleting images permanently with the 'Del' key or when executing other user commands
- Registration of file extensions in Windows 8 improved. Consider however that Windows 8 protects the standard file associations.
For changing these associations the 'Default programs' dialog of Windows 8 must be used.
- Showing system menu and icon in Windows7/8 when switching from full screen to windowed mode
