Кто на каком режиме фильтрации работает? Поставил средний (рекомендованный) так и не разобрался в его запросах; т.е. запросы то понятны, а вот что за програмиы пытаются "выйти" и какие им правила нужны так в большинстве и не смог понять; ведь не отвечать же тупо на запрос разрешением или запретом! ? То ли части операционной системы, то ли оргтехника сетевая ищется, одним словом х.з. Сейчас стоит в режиме низкой фильтрации и только запрещаю программам которые сам устанавливал доступ в сеть (если он конечно им противопоквзан). Но все же есть чувство незаконченности что ли. Если бы этого слова в среднем режиме фильтрации не было "рекомендовано", то и не морочил бы себе голову.
И еще, я так понял в правилах нельзя писать доменные имена, а использовать можно только IP адреса?

Ставить тяжелый и навороченный фаерволл не хочется (там своих заморочек хватает), а эта надстройка над встроенным в Windows вроде соответсвутет ТЗ.

Среда: ноутбук, который периодически перемещяется между локальными сетями, как домашними так и общественными.

p.s. А может все таки и прийдется ставить сторонний фаервол, а?

Пользуюсь последней версией: Windows Firewall Control 4.0.9.0 .
Не понравилось: при регистрации программы выскакивает окошко в браузере, на оф. сайт проги. А потом вижу предупреждение от WFC - пускать или не пускать прогу в Инет!
Смысл надстройки теряется. Создавать Правила вручную для каждого "нужного" приложения считаю нецелесообразным...ИМХО

Обновился не помню с какой версии до последней, и при загрузке компа стал выскакивать запрос UAC (контроль учётных записей) на запуск WFC. Соответственно пока руками не нажмёшь - не запускается. Как бы вернуть нормальную автозагрузку?

Столкнулся с проблемой в версии 4.1.4.0. В начале установки появляется лог, и в нем такое: UAC elevation was cancelled by the user. Installation aborted. UAC по умолчанию отключен, но и когда включаешь - то же самое. Как побороть? Win7x32. Спасибо.

Это надстройка над виндовским внутренним файерволом, чтобы удобнее было настраивать правила фильтрации сетевого трафика. Смотри описание программы в шапке темы.
