Собрано в MS VC++14 (MS VC++ 2015) с оригинальными настройками проекта, конфигурация RELEASE, x86-32 (x86, минимум XP SP3), х86-64 (х64, минимум Vista).

ВНИМАНИЕ!

За неимением ХР в пределах досягаемости на оной оси не проверяю и там могут быть сюрпризы в виде "Точка входа ... в процедуру ... не найдена..." - это часто встречается в компиляторах Микрософт и исправляется после одного или нескольких сервис паков к студии (для 2012-й исправили только в Update 4, для 2013-й в Update 1, в 2015-й пока не известно). Ежели что - пересоберу в 2010-й - эта точно на ХР SP3 заведётся...

P.S.

Смысла зеркалить b704 не вижу ибо проще новую ревизию скомпилить, да и исходники думаю обновятся ранее чем линк на b704 протухнет.

оригинальная авторская сборка упакована UPX 3.91, но я не стал этого делать по причинам:

1) объём используемого ОЗУ:

оригинальная упакованная сборка - 5,32 MB
не упакованная х86 сборка - 3,15 MB
не упакованная х64 сборка - 3,75 MB

2) антивирусы не сильна жалуют UPX. К примеру Avira, AVG и часто просто молча удаляют упакованные файлы считая их вредоносными.

Для того, чтобы Rufus хранил свои настройки локально (rufus.ini рядом с rufus.exe) просто допишите в конце имени программы букву "p" - например rufus.exe -> rufusp.exe по шаблону <filename>.exe -> <filename>p.exe.

При работе программы в консоли (CMD, TCMD, 4NT, TCC, Far, ...) рядом с ней создаётся файл rufus.com необходимый для последующего корректного завершения консольной сессии и предотвращения автоматического перезапуска программы. После завершения её работы данный файл удаляется ОС, а если программа запущена из графической среды необходимости в его создании нет. Его пришлось использовать когда обнаружился эффект самоперезапуска программы под Far Manager при нажатии кнопки выхода - тогда завершить программу можно было только через вызов WinAPI функции TerminateProcess() из менеджеров задач.

Victor_VG, как всегда вопрос от не просвещенных: x64 - какие преимущества?

пробуйте. Вроде по словам тестеров на ХР SP3 работает, проверяли на машине с ЦП Core 2 Duo E7200 (более старых процессоров не отыскали, но стоит проверить на i586 (Pentium !!!/AMD Athlon XP/MP, AMD Duron, K6-3).

Пробовать на старых ЦП можно, но осторожно - новые компиляторы VC++2015 генерят код с использованием машинных команд SSE2 (Pentium 4/AMD64) посему может и не пойти, а у меня машин древнее AMD64 K8 для проверки нет - ничего не выжило.
