Посоветуйте альтернативу, плиз. У этой скоро триал выдохнется, пробовал другие (activerefresh, sitespector) - ацтой. А вот что-нибудь такое же толковое, как WSW?

А можно как-нибудь заставить программу проверять обновления на форумах, где необходимо сначало нужно войти под каким-то пользователем. Например, как можно отслеживать изменение какой-то темы в Варезнике? (если вообще возможно)

Откройте свойства закладки - Advanced. Включите Use internal cookie system. Кнопка Minibrowser. Зайдите на форум и авторизуйтесь. Закройте Minibrowser. Поле Internal saved cookies будет автоматически заполнено данными, полученными от Minibrowser. Всё, можно проверять закладку. При дальнейших проверках авторизоваться на форуме больше не потребуется.
Полученные данные поля cookies могут быть использованы для создания других закладок - смотрите другие опции раздела Advanced в свойствах закладки. Главное - не играйтесь с переводом системной даты компьютера.
Без данных cookie проверка варезника будет невозможна.

Насколько я знаю, если при входе на форум внешним обозревателем (IE) происходит автоматический логон, то то же будет и при проверке форума WSW.

Кто-нибудь работает серьезно с этой прогой?
У меня такой вопрос:

1. Вот, допустим, задал я для определенной страницы ключевые слова.
2. Для этой же страницы я настроил "отслеживание ссылок"
3. Собственно вопрос: что я должен сделать, чтобы:
3.1 Прога сообщала мне о появлении новых страниц, соединенных со "стартовой". Сейчас новые страницы почему-то добавляются в раздел автопроверки (хотя галочка "Копировать все свойства закладки при добавлении новой..." везде снята);
3.2 Прога сообщала мне о появлении страниц с ключевыми словами, выделяя их на странице. Похоже, что появившиеся вновь страницы совсем не обрабатываются никак (только при их обновлении - если они обновляются; а это практически не происходит)

Заранее премного благодарен за помощь.

В общих настройках программы должно быть включено "Уведомлять о первой инициализации страницы".

А вы эту галочку включите, потом применить изменения. Затем снова откройте свойства, снимите галку и опять примените изменения.

Пока к сожалению только алгоритм, который вы описали: инициализация страницы (первая проверка), затем отслеживание изменений и при обновлении страницы подсветка ключевых слов.
Об этом указано в справке:
Keywords are only highlighted in the version with highlighted changes, not in the new or old version of a page. (Ключевые слова подсвечиваются только в версии с подсвеченными изменениями, но не в новой или старой версиях страницы).
Но вы можете запросить нужную функцию на официальном форуме

Сколько нужно памяти для WSW?

Если проверенных закладок становиться больше 10000, то появляется сообщение об ошибке "программа выполнила недопустимую операцию и будет закрыта". Стоит WSW 4.05, Win98 и 128 Мб.
Кто-нибудь работал с большим количеством закладок и сколько при этом было памяти? и еще, как
быстро выполняется импорт закладок из файла txt. У меня добавление 40000 закладок заняло 1 час.
