Rename Master is a FREE utility for renaming large groups of files with a few clicks. Anyone that has worked with websites, file archives, or collections of music, videos, or pictures has probably spent way too much time renaming hundreds of files.

This utility will add, remove, or replace parts of the filename with ease. Be warned, this is a toy for advanced users and it will do exactly what you tell it to do.

Requirements
The new version is written in Delphi 6 and should run on any Windows OS - no install program is needed.

Подскажите, эта программа позволяет перед переименовыванием отсортировать файлы по дате создания? Например чтобы файлы были названы от 001 до 999 но так, чтобы файл за номером 001 был самым ранним, а файл 999 был самым последним.

И позволяют при переименовывании добавлять к новому имени файла дату создания этого файла?

Подскажите, как мне переименовать кучу файлов с названием cover.jpg в файлы с названием folder.jpg
эти файлы находяца каждый в своей папке
обложки музыкальных альбомов

сразу прошу прощения, если пишу не там

какая программа поможет мне? в достижении моей цели?
необходимо переименовать кучу файлов с названием cover.jpg в файлы с названием folder.jpg

но нужно чтобы переименовались только эти файлы, а файлы типа cover-back.jpg
так и остались такими же
пробовал следующими программами

корневая директория — это директория, в которой находятся папки, в которых находятся файлы cover.jpg

пасиба, я уже решил трабл помоему

вот эта прога _ftp://ftp.ware.ru/win/mycomputer/utility/autoren.zip

с помощью неё удастся переименовать только файлы с расширением jpg
она переименовывает сочетание знаков cover.jpg in folder.jpg
тоесть из файлов
cover.jpg
back-cover.jpg
britney spears cover.mp3
cover-cd.jpg

переименуются тока первые два, потому как у них неразрывно cover.jpg

вывод: стока буржуйских прог понаскачивал пробовал, пробовал и в итоге прога Сергея Панина от 1999г с убогим интерфейсом мне помогла=)
