У мя 7 хардов, все САТА, а подключать некуда.
Сначала мне в Ультре посоветовали ПСИ САТА контроллер на 2 порта. Всё бы хорошо, но самозагруза в нем нету. И винду с него не загрузишь
А вот недавно мне посоветовали другую модель :http://www.ultracomp.ru/common/good_...370&no_price=1
Там 4 порта и по ходу, с него можно грузиться, т.к. в биосе видны харды, подключенные к нему.
Но есть неприятные нюансы! Если на мамке или на этом контроллере подключены 2 одинаковых харда, то при загрузке возникает сообщение о биосе Raid. И никак от него не избавиться!!! Совершенно!!!
Есть горячие клавиши F4? и можно войти в меню биоса, но тока когда харды висят разные.
При одинаковых ничего нельзя сделать, тока отключить. А у меня 3 одинаковых 750ника.....

Follow the instructions in this section if you are performing a new installation
of Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000/XP or Windows Server 2003, and you wish
to boot from a device attached to the SiI 3114 SATALink controller.
1. Power off the system. Insert the SiI 3114 SATALink controller into an
available PCI slot. Connect serial ATA cable(s) between the SiI 3114
controller and the serial ATA device(s). Power up the system.
2. Put your Windows NT/2000/XP or Windows Server 2003 CD into the
CD-ROM/DVD drive, or the NT/2000 boot diskette #1 in the floppy
drive if your system cannot boot from the CD.
3. Press F6 for third party SCSI or driver installation at the beginning
of text mode installation. Press 's' when setup asks if you want to
specify an additional device, and insert the diskette labeled
'Silicon Image SiI 3114 SATALink Driver Installation Disk'.
Press 'Enter'. From the menu presented next, press 'Enter' to select
the 3114 controller.
4. Press 'Enter' again when prompted to continue on with text mode setup.
5. Follow the setup instructions to select your choice for partition and
file system.
6. After setup examines your disks, it will copy files from the CD to the
hard drive selected above and restart the system. After restart the
setup process will resume to finish the installation.
7. Once the operating system installation has completed you can follow the
instructions in section 4 to verify controller was installed correctly.

Windows Server 2003 installation

Follow the instructions in this section to install the Silicon Image SiI 3114
SATALink controller into a system already running Windows 2000/XP or Windows
Server 2003.
1. Power off the system. Insert the SiI 3114 SATALink controller into an
available PCI slot. Connect serial ATA cable(s) between the SiI 3114
controller and the serial ATA device(s). Power up the system.
2. During OS boot up, Windows will display the 'Found New Hardware Wizard'.
Click 'Next'.
3. Select 'Search for a suitable driver for my device
(Recommended)' and Click 'Next'.
4. Under 'Optional search locations' insure that 'Floppy disk drives'
is checked.
5. Insert the diskette labeled 'Silicon Image SiI 3114 SATALink Driver
Installation Disk' into A: and click 'Next'.

К сожалению, я не учил англ. в школе и ничего не могу понять.
Прошу, переведите мне хотя бы самые ключевые моменты!
