» WD3200BEVT errors in logical scan

Hello, I am sorry i am not speak Russian and i need help.

I have been weeks working in HDD
WD3200BEVT-22A23T0, FW: 01.01A01, Family:
Jamaica(Royal). The HDD identified OK, I read
Modules using WDMarvel 2.3 Beta and show error
on module 04:

13/09/2015 01:36:08: Ошибка чтения модуля ID04, статус - RSC_ALLOCATION_NO_CONTI_BUFFER

all other modules are OK, i can read G-List,
P-list, etc. If do Logic Scan show errors, test head show:

head 0-good
head 1-good

I run SelfScan using the script of module 28
in HDD and finish OK, format using P-list OK
but after that the Logical Scan show errors again.

I need help to found a solution for this HDD.

Head 1 = 1926

How can i head depop head 1 using WDMarvel 2.3 Beta?

Либо ARCO нужно делать. Новой версией утилиты.
Либо он пилится и смысла ремонтировать его вообще нет.

In this situations you must start ARCO by new version of utility.
Or workspace of disks is degraded, and this disk is unrecoverable.

You exact know, that bad head is 1?
It simple. You must change address of 1 region to 0 region, that disk started from zero copy of SA. And then give depop command. I'm not very quick type in english, and can't give step by step instruction. But I can do it for you trough remote desktop, if you can give me access. Or you can try translate instruction from topic of repair WD (http://forum.ru-board.com/topic.cgi?forum=84&topic=4089&start=2060#2). And next questions you can type in that topic.

А зачем нужно сдвигать регионы ?

Затем, что разным софтом пользуемся Я наблюдал сбои при отключении системной головы, если адрес региона не переназначен на другую системную. И люди тут писали о таком. Возможно не на всех семействах, но я всегда делаю на всякий случай...

Thank for the answer but i can not buy using internet connection, I know WDMarvwl is
an excelent software but until now i can use only demo versions. I wish a full version but
i have not access to buy. Thank you very much for your help i know that without a proper
tool is impossible fix the HDD.

WDMarvel 2.3 beta can depop heads, selfsca in automode, and ARCO in hand-mode. It very very good functional You understand instruction about depop head?

About ARCO. I don't heave step--by-step instruction. And it hard for me to type you , that i know. I only do some experiment. I don't have full working methood. You can try this youself. In WDMarvel you se button "Запсук ARCO тестов" and some tests in list. You must know confirmation of tests and clean some modules before. For example

I do not try head depop because the test head is good for head 0 and 1 and the
errors in logical scan do not follow any patron i can not see clearly what head is bad
I try Запсук ARCO тестов and run mini arco and full arco and finished quickly and
with error. I do not understaind why selfscan finish OK and then the HDD show errors
in logical scan Could you please explaint to me the difference between ARCO test and
selfscan and why i can not run ARCO in my case.

To see bad head you can open G-list. If you see many remaps on one head only - you understand...

ARCO - it a more "low-lewel" tests. Selfscan on WD it a defect management in main function e etc. But ARCO can setting density, zone table etc. ARCO test must be running BEFORE selfscan.

Maybe because you disk is "cracking", but more real variant, that program work not right. I say, that in this version start of ARCO test may work with errors, because this version is demo and not supporting more! This version for experimentators, but not for "end users"!

So, If depop head - is good variant for you, you must do it!

I try many test an after that can see that the
majority of error in the scan are beetween 15-20% of
the area of HDD, before and after that area the HDD scan
with a very low number of errors. There is any way to cut
that zone use WDMarvel2.3 or WDR6 or move that zone to the
end and then adjust the HPA of HDD and leave that area away.
