Блин я уже не знаю что делать, сделал все как написано в статье, вот че пишет:

-bash: /root/ppp-connect: Permission denied
Я попытался сконфигурировать ррр через рррsetup, набираю ррр-go и он подсоединяется, пишет все как надо, локал ИР адресс, ремоте ИР адресс, НО НИЧЕГО не грузится, то есть двообще ничего ни вебстраницы, ни фтп, НИЧЕГО.
Блин просто ужас, замусился.

поменяй на всякий пожарный chat на /usr/sbin/chat

поменял chat на /usr/sbin/chat, не помогло. Модем на СОМ3, если ты имеешь ввиду поменять /dev/modem на /dev/ttyS2, то я та сделал, тож не помогло.

У меня Suse , интернет соиденил но через какоето время модем теряет линию... Приходится вырубать Linux и ждать пока модем сного найдет соиденение с линией..

как я понимаю речь о DSL-модеме

можно опустить и поднять интерфейс заново

Уже как часа 2-3 линия не падала но за это время много раз отключялся интернет... Как зделать так чтоб он сам подключял его?

Народ! Вот объясните ламеру... Хочу поставить RedHat 7.2... Сегодня часиков в 16:00 привезут мне её.. на 3 сиди - лицензия с ключом
ну вообщем... поставлю... а драва как ставить незнаю... есть у меня два модема... один huawei smartAX MT810 (usb, только без драйверов... точнее без диска.. драва из инета через второй модем тащил...). второй модем уже с диском.. и всеми делами - auslinx al-2006 usb...
что лучше ставить.. точнее что проще и стабильнее в Redhat 7.2...?


и можно объяснить как это все делатется... в линуксе ниче незнаю... ставлю его чтоб изучить.... как это ядро пересобирать просто !!! не имею понятия... дайте инструкциюю... если можно со скринами....

Вообщем настроил я Linux Mandrake 10.0 (Community). Как я говорил у меня два модема... Надо узнать какой легче настроить для подключения к инету через линукс...

1. Как это исправить?
2. Как зайти в линукс рутом...? А то он у меня заходит XeeLite-ом (моим пользователям), пытался завершить сеанс, и начать рутом.. а рута нету... А хочу рутом зайти, ибо немогу ниче записать на /usr/.........
