» freeBSD очень долго стартует

FreeBSD стала долго подниматься.
Добавил в sysctl.conf
net.inet.tcp.blackhole=2
net.inet.udp.blackhole=1
kern.ps_showallprocs=0

Больше ничего не делал. Зависает на строчке Restoring vi sessions: или что-то в этом духе. Висит минут 3-5, потом вроде загружается. vi не использую. Куда копнуть?

А что это за параметр kern.ps_showallprocs=0, чего то я в 7.2 не нашел такого.

По идее это запрет на просмотр процессов для всех, кроме рута

Так а если набрать sysctl kern.ps_showallprocs он что нибудь показывает.

Данного параметра уже давно нету.

Параметр убрал, но все равно как-то уныло загружается. Самое интересное, что пинговать начинает быстро, но до ССШ и пр. сервисов стартует дооолго

Попробуй без установки этих параметров еще раз.
Сейчас на том же виснет?

Хм, без этих параметров все стартонуло влёт... Вообще время старта для меня не так критично, как безопасность. Так что, наверное, их все же лучше включить?..
