Unk: The AddOnNextConnect flag we gave to lowID users that missed their uploadslot still didn't work well as the user had to reconnect within a specific window.
- Now that flaged user can reconnect anytime that doesn't violate the protocol and get the upload slot.
- Only one user can have that slot at any given time to avoid the uploadlist from getting out of hand just in case more then one lowID user got flaged.
- Once a user is removed from the upload list, this slot is available again.
Unk: Relaxed the conditions for users to enter the upload queue of a lowID client.
- We still monitor for users on the upload list that try to get around the lowID callback limits through servers.
- We do not monitor Kad users on the upload list as the callbacks are all currently valid.

Может кто-нибудь толково объяснить, что же лучше использовать - официальную версию или хорошие моды к ней? У меня в статистике более 90% - пользователи официальных версий. В справке также рекомендуется использовать именно офверсию.

Второй вопрос: после 2 часов работы осла (Morph, iONiX), падает соединение. Напрочь. Даже DNS-сервер не пингуется. Помогает только перезагрузка ADSL-модема. Это проделки моего прова или что-то другое?

Заранее благодарю за советы.

1. официальный лучше если тебе не нужны функции модов.
2. это проблемы твоего модема - скорее всего он виснет. У меня такое было - помогла обновление прошивки и уменьшение числа соединений.

Ничего особого в этом моде, отличающем от 44d увы не нашёл!
Качает по прежнему медленно, пришлось вернуться на lhemule 5.0 от lioNetwork

Не DLink случайно какой-нибудь? В принципе у любого дешевого девайса при ословом режиме работы забиваются nat-таблицы, но ДЛинки этому подвержены намного сильнее.

отключи контроль DNS... Это не единичный случай и здесь уже советовали просто его отключать.

Нет, Zyxel Prestige 645. Уменьшил число соединений до 100. Вроде DNS-запросы уже не глючат при включенном осле, но почта и серфинг все равно не катят

Всегда ставил себе мод мула eMule Plus начиная с 1 версии. Вчера ради интереса решил поставить себе eMule v0.45a. Разница, по не понятным мне причинам очень ощутима. С ID у меня все в порядке, всегда High ID. Значит, поставил я себе эту версию и ждал около 3-х часов пока у меня появился первый источник, затем он появился и покачалось с него около часа со средней скоростью 3Кб./сек и дальше продолжило стоять. С eMule Plus все совершенно иначе. Когда я его запускаю, первые источники появляются, в среднем, в течении 5-10ти минут. Как правило, после того как появляются первые источники он больше просто так не стоит, а качает постоянно. Правда скорость меняется от 0.1Кб./сек. до 30Кб./сек., но ниже 3Кб./сек. обычно не опускается. Может мне кто-нибудь объяснит, почему так. Что они в eMule Plus такого сделали, что появляется такая ощутимая разница в скорости? Вообще, я не только ради любопытсва спрашиваю вас. Мне очень уж понравилось оформление официального eMule'a. Может что-нибудь в его настройках изменить нужно?

Отдавая конкретному пользователю файлы, зарабатываешь у этого пользователя кредиты.

В топике об этом уже писали, открой версию для печати и поищи, можешь еще и здесь почитать - Система кредитов eMule. Никакой привязки к IP нету, и может изменятся сколько угодно; привязка идет на твоего клиента.

После перехода перестал ждать час и более до появления источников.
С eMule источники действительно появлялись не очень шибко.
Выходит, осел ишаку не брат?

Не, народ. Я тоже долго юзал Плюс, мне он нравился. Потом перешёл на Ослика из-за Kad'a, но у меня с Кадом отношения не сложились. Что касается скачивания, особой разницы не почувствовал, даже поначалу показалось, что Ослик лучше держит источники.
Но вот, что мне категорически не нравится в Ослике, что он постоянно по-новой хэширует файлы. Ну запустил я Ослика, он нашёл 10 новых файлов, хэшировал их. Выхожу из Ослика и через несколько секунд снова его запускаю. Он находит 9 новых файлов и хэширует их! Но он же их хэшировал минуту назад! Из-за этого плодится куча ненужных дублей при поиске. В Плюсе этого не было. Он чётко определял действительно новые файлы.

Смотря чего ты хочешь достичь своим бэкапом. Если сохранить свои кредиты - preferences.dat и cryptkey.dat. Лично я бы сохранял просто всю папку мула, там есть еще несколько полезных файлов.

Это если ты хочешь переустановить систему, а затем просто поставить ту же копию мула. А если ты хочешь поставить себе более новую версию самого мула?

А вообще, как только узнал про эти кредиты, сразу поднял скорость аплоада до 40Кб./сек. Раньше раздача шла на скорости 10Кб./сек. Это же рекомендую делать другим, по возможности конечно.

Чтобы сохранить всё и всех и апгрейдать мула не просто не нужно делать setup. Или сделать в другую временную папку. А потом вручную заменить exeшник и всё остальное в \Emule , а папку \Emule\Config не трогать

Проще скачать binary версию и скопировать файлы в папку установленной программы.

Полностью согласен с m777m, по поводу увелеченья скорости отдачи! Сам выставляю от 100 до 400 кб/сек, благо канал позволяет до 1500кб/сек, но при больших комп из-за харда тормозить начинает. Зато после запуска сразу начинаю качать, обидно что скорость более 100-130кб/сек не поднимается.
