т.к версии выходят часто и топик только для их публикации используется, то сделана шапка- информация о выходе версий в ней.

в последней версии появилась взможность сворачивать по правой клавише мыши приложения в трей. Однако разворачиваь из трея сабж пока не научился
Но вроде как обещают сделать в ближайших версиях.

Правильной работы со свёрнутыми окнами так и не появилось, как я понимаю?

нет. у меня, во всяком случае, сабж не видит ни одно окно свернутое в трей, кроме total commander. да и его, чтобы развернуть приходится кликать мышкой в окне программы.
то есть работа сос вернутыми в трей окнами - самое слабое место сабжа.

Now TSXP generates window previews in a separate thread! It takes a few resources for synchronization, but it works really faster. Now the initial value of the preview generation delay does not depend on the system keyboard repeat delay, it is 50 ms by default.

That seems more preferred on P4 with HyperThreading and x86-64 platforms. I spent a lot of my time to improve previews speed, hope you will satisfied with the results.

** Switching with mouse **
I have added new secret/test feature to v2.06, it is called "Opera style task switching" (Opera allows users to switch between open tabs by mouse wheel). Use WheelTab.js script to enable/disable this feature (TaskSwitchXP\scripts\).

This feature allows you to switch between tasks by mouse: simply scroll the mouse whell while holding the right mouse button (TaskSwitchXP will switch to the selected task once the right-button is released).

NOTE: To install \scripts subfolder select "Scripts for advanced features" in the setup program! Also you can download these sripts here..

** New interface languages **
Now TaskSwitchXP is distributed on 17+ languages! My sincere gratitude to all people localized TaskSwitchXP.

** Minimizing to tray **
After some user suggestions, I have added the ability to add minimized to tray windows to the end of Alt-Tab list. Also v2.06 fixes some minor bugs with minimizing.

** New command lines **

...for TaskSwitchXP.exe:
/list - show the list all open applications windows ("sticky" mode);
/inst-list - show the instances list of the foreground application;
/escape - hide TaskSwitchXP's window.

...for ConfigTsXP.exe:
/install - install TaskSwitchXP's registry settings (it does not change existing parameters) and exit;
/defaults - install default TaskSwitchXP's registry settings and exit;

...for TaskSwitchXP.exe and ConfigTsXP.exe:
/nocheckver - do not check version of OS (for testing purposes only).

** New shortcut keys **
P - preferences
Z - temporary sticky mode (and Y for german users )

TaskSwitchXP умеет сворачивать программы в трей, но не видит их после этого. Ни одно приложение. Когда читал эту ветку, то писали, что Total Commander она видит. У меня она только сворачивает...

А есть ли альтернативные проги, видел просто как то темку на форуме со сравнением подобных программ, но не могу теперь найти

Всё бы хорошо в VistaSwitcher, однако переключение <правый батон мыши>+<колесо> блочит в Maxthon 3 жесты мышью.

Чегой-то у вистасвитчера иногда не получается между окнами Экселя переключаться

Лично для меня главный недостаток VistaSwitcher по сравнению со старым TaskSwitchXP - это отсутствие функции сворачивания/разворачивания текущего окна в трей с помощью горячих клавиш. Почему эту функцию не добавили в ВС, не понятно. Теперь при переходе на 7-ку приходится искать альтернативу.
