Народ, а где там русский язык находится? На офф сайте искал, написано что есть, а в проге не нашел, для самой последней версии

У тебя какая Винда? Русская, не русская или англицкая с установленным русским MUI?
В случае Русской и англицкой с русским МУИ - ставиться русский, в случае не русской - не могу проверить, скорее всего английская или конкретный язык

PS. попробуй установить русскую локаль

У меня тоже англицкая корпоративка 2003, но установленным MUI
ПОэтому буду давать русские термины

Панель управления\Язык и региональные стандарты
Закладка "Дополнительно" - "Выберите язык, соответствующий языку используемых программ, которые не потдерживают Юникод" - Русский
Да и в других местах этого апплета установи "русский"

Mp3tag 2.32p обработал альбом, на выходе - все файлы одинакого размера, все тэги потерты, короче - запоролся. Пришлось откатиться на 2.32а. Стремно теперь новые версии пробовать. В чем причина?

а у меня начиная с версии 2.32+какая-то буква (не помню) все русские теги отбражаются кракозябрами! в чем причина? может кто знает? заранее благодарен!

Причина, скорее всего, в том, что как раз с версии "2.32+какая-то буква" автор начал добавлять поддержку Unicode. С этой позиции ID3v2 теги, сохраненные тем же winamp-ом - неправильные, не по стандарту.

Эта тема, кстати, бурно обсуждается в форумах по foobar - там как раз с версии 0.9 тоже на unicode перешли. Вот все и не могут решить, должен ли плеер иметь настройку, позволяющую читать старые неправильные теги.

А вообще, рекомедованное решение - заменить глючные ID3v2 на APE. Тогда и winamp все будет более-менее по-человечески показывать (он будет видеть только ID3v1) и во всяких "foobar-ах" все будет по-русски.

Посмотрел только что изменения в последней версии (2.32t) - есть там какой-то таинственный "NEW: action type 'Convert codepage'" - может, он поможет привести теги в порядок?
Вот только босюь, что после этого их перестанет узнавать winamp

да нет... скачивал, вроде пробовал, не помогло...

Скажите, сабж может найти тэги в своей базе или надо вручную всё вбивать? В настройках я поставил свой e-mail aдpec, как и просили, но что-то он не может найти тэги.

Может. Но не "в своей базе", а в freedb (базы данных в интернете)

Другие ищет. Просто у меня все файлы такого вида: "Various - Р’.Монти - Чардаш.mp3" и найти тэги и правильные названия сложно.

Во всём разобрался, и теперь всё работает!

В версии 2.33 есть небольшие глюки с кириллицей
1. Название колонок - надо переписать, что-бы отображались по русски (лечится)
2. Личный список жанров - поддерживается только латиница и цифры, русские буквы пропадают (вылечить не удалось)
