Вот решил попробывать этот сервер. Сразу возник вопрос: а у программы нет возможности как у g6 ftp server объединять локальные папки виртуально через merge:// ? не нахожу и не могу поверить что этого может не быть.

У Титана прекрасная работа с виртуальными папками. Всё интуитивно понятно и просто.

realister12, может подскажешь тогда как сделать чтобы в одной виртуальной папке было содержимое двух реальных без вложений, т.е. чтобы содержимое двух реальных было в корне одной виртуальной. В g6 я даже не думал как это сделать. там есть merge:// , а тут чуть с ума не сошел в поисках как это сделать. В мануалах тож не нашел.

ну так как? нельзя такое в титане реализовать?

Ссори что неотвечал..просто небыло возможности( А насчет папок...ща поставлю, вспомню былое. Если что найду - отпишусь. (Кстати в свое время выкачивал их онлайн-энциклопедию с оффа и переводил, но забил)

Поддерживает. В домене идем Files/Directories и там на вкладку Virtual Folders.

может кто подскажет утилитку для выдирания паролей? просто хочу мигрировать на другой фтп сервер, а учетных записей около 30

У кого-нибудь вообще Титан стабильно работал (интересует публичный сервер и опыт экспулатации от полугода)?

У меня сервер с небольшой нагрузкой - несколько сотен юзеров стукнуться в сутки по большей части в холостую, некоторые зальют что-то... Короче, никаких серьезных нагрузок.

Начал с 5.37 Build 387 - он примерно неделю работал ок, а там требовал рестарта сервиса. По большому счету было терпимо.

Проапгрейдился на 5.38 Build 388 - не знаю, совпадение или нет, но рестарт начал требоваться 2 или 3 раза в неделю. Далее сервер повисал с сообщением "XXX active users conneted", но на самом деле никакие подключения он не обслуживал (был в дауне). Написал разработчику, они сообщили что знают об этой пробелеме, но воспроизвести ее не могут. Но сейчас они ведут разработку Titan 6, который будет релизнут до конца месяца. В Titan 6 переписана подсистема и там не должно быть глюков, который описан выше.

Дали мне разработчики тайную ссылку на текущую разработку Titan 6 - Titan 5.99 b 466. Поставил ее. Опустив все прочие "бяки", могу сказать, что сервис вообще начал валиться мама не горюй - раз по 5 в сутки! Короче, вообще атас.

Так можно ли вообще от Титана добиться стабильной работы?

Здравствуйте! Меня интересует, в Титане можно сделать так, чтобы было видно где ползает юзер и чего качает, как, к примеру, в Serv-U? Spy у меня не работает и статистика тоже. Может где-то недонастраивал? И ещё. Можно заставить этот сервер показывать не IP, а хост?

На сайте официально 6-ку раздают...

Я первые не публичные сборки 6-ки пробовал - ужос!!! Валился с завидной регулярностью и без причин, не все функции работали и т.д.

Может чего изменилось?

У кого 6-ка хотя бы пару недель без перезагрузки продержаться может?

Народ помогите плиз разобраться с проблемой. Ситуация такая: есть локальная сеть, на одном из компов поднят Titan FTP Server. В настройках сервера описан пользователь для которого описана домашняя директория на этом же компе. Локальная сеть закрыта от внешнего мира роутером на котором описан виртуальный сервер для проброса запросов на 21 порт до ФТП сервера в локальной сети. Есть сайт в инете (не в локальной сети) где сделана гиперссылка на файл, лежащий на фтп сервере. При клике на ссылку эксплорер запрашивает логин и пароль, после чего пишет что не удалось подключиться к серверу. В логах титана возникает строка User "anonymous" account disabled; returning 530 после чего в эксплорере выскакивает сообщение 425 Unable open data conection при конекте вводились нормальные логин и пароль при чем тут ананимус не понятно. Если в титане разрешаю ананимуса то при клике на ссылку получаю сообщение 550 Requested action not taken, file not found or no access

Если попробовать из эксплорера подключиться к фтп серверу в домашнюю папку получается тоже самое, т.е. говорит что сервер недоступен или перегружен запросами. Заметил такую закономерность что если на фтп сервер идти с компа, который напрямую имеет выход в инет то проблем не возникает, проблемы возникают когда идеш на фтп сервер с сайта или с компа, который выходит в инет через какой либо сервер. Причем такая болезнь замечена не только у титана но и у Serv-U и у Cesar FTP

Помогите разобраться: стоит WINXP PRO SP2
Установил Titan FTP Server v.6.05 build 550, активировал.
Нажимаю "Start Titan FTP Server Service", выдает вот такую хрень - "Error, unable to start Titan FTP Server Daemon".
Что можно предпринять?

Чем читать логи сервера ?
Ни один из пробовнных мной анализаторов логов не может понять его формат (в конфе поставил запись в формате W3C).

кто-нибудь может подсказать как настроить event hadler на отправку e-mail пользователю об окончании срока действия пароля? сделать как в руковдостве у меня не получилось...

Установил, всё работает отлично, с любыми ФТП менеджерами (Тотал коммандер и т.п.) с браузером ИЕ7-8, но при работе с браузером Mozilla Firefox 3.0.8, Опера при попытке зайти в папку пишет:
550 Requested action not taken, file not Found or no access.
В ИЕ ссылка имеет вид, к примеру:
ftp://ххх.ххх.х.хх/%D1%EE%F4%F2/
В Mozilla Firefox
ftp://ххх.ххх.х.хх/Софт/
Подскажите как от этого трабла избавится?....

Кто сидит на 8 поколении? Есть такие? Что там со стабильностью? Появилась или как?
