Если японские, зачем выпускать как минимум английскую и русскую версии?

Видимо собирает сборки бот, а вот на оффсайте только япошкина версия имеет номер 6.1.7

кто-нибудь пробовал Lunascape v6.2.0.22177, сравнима ли она с Maxthon 3 по скорости и возможностям?

Скорость определяется движком, один из трёх Лунаскейповских - тот же, что и у Макстона...

Он не тот же. WebKit, да не тот. В Луне "настоящий" WebKit, не испоганенный Гуглом. А в Макстоне - гугловский Chromium.

По скорости - не знаю, думаю одинаково, а вот по возможностям Луна точно на порядок выше.

А где ты увидел таковую для Макстона 3? Ты же спрашивал про 3-ю линейку. Если ты надеешься, что Макстон 3 будет равен по фичам Макстону 2, ты глубоко заблуждаешься. Макстон 3 - это абсолютно другой браузер - реально это Хром в китайской шкуре, с помощью которой Гугл надеется пролезть на китайский рынок, от прежнего Макстона только название и осталось.

Доброго времени суток юзала луну , мне не понравилось , тормоза жуткие , опера против неё реактивный двигатель - по скорости , мозилка -лучше по функционалу , хром - по минимализму и скорости

Ну так какой смысл сравнивать?
Скорость определяется движком, Макстон2 - надстройка Internet Explorer, Макстон3 основан на WebKit, Луна имеет три движка, включая упомянутые. Значит Луна или равна по скорости, или медленнее или быстрее в зависимости от того, какой движок используешь. Ну что тут ещё сказать?
Про настраиваемость интерфейса браузера тоже невозможно сказать "какой лучше". Такая постановка вопроса лишена всякого смысла, для каждого лучше тот, к которому привык. Знамениты своей настраиваемостью Opera, некоторые надстройки IE, Лунаскейп, но всё настраиваются по-разному... На вкус и цвет, как говорится...
У меня всегда установлены несколько браузеров, для повседневного серфинга люблю Avant (надстройка IE), а вот Orca Browser от той же китайской компании, хоть и на 99% внешне и функционально аналогичен (хоть и на другом движке) использовать не могу, не лежит душа. Вот и пойми почему, сам не знаю...

Вы простите если чем Вас обидела я её тестирую как только она вышла перед новым годом , ну достала она меня своими тормозами, даже тот же пустой манифилд от мазилки и то лучше , и у меня кампе ещё 10 стоит ) вот флок - старенький и надёжный , макстон снесла )) не очень
А тут японцы нафаршировали , ну и , переключалась я с движка на движок , всё равно геско лучше

Вот то что стоит у Вас , это конечно интересная инфа хм Avant (надстройка IE), и Orca Browser не тестила ))

Орка - это тот же Авант, только на Gecko, т.е. мозилка "с человеческим лицом". Но некоторые расширения почему-то не работают (хотя устанавливаются) , а связанные с изменением интерфейса (добавляющие менюшки, кнопочки и подобное) - естетственно, не работают все (ибо интерфейс чужой (для мозилки), авантовский)... Правда, часть расширений Орке и не нужна, ибо есть аналогичные встроенные средства.

По Луне - да, тормозноват несколько, но у него три движка в одном, на Gecko можно навешивать расширения (с теми же ограничениями насчет интерфейсных, что и в Орке). Да и вообще при нынешних каналах ИМХО у всех браузеров скорости давно одинаковы. Луна просто стартует долго, ибо грузит движки на старте.

Но по крайней мере, Луна работает без закидонов, причем на вчетверо меньшем объеме памяти от заявленного разрабами. Да и WebKit у Луны родной, а не испоганенный Гуглом Chromium.

Это отнюдь не аксиома. Многое зависит от реализации каждого движка и его возможностям внутри единой оболочки.

Чтобы доработать, нужны соответствующие возможности движка. IE-шные плагины на Chromium-ном движке работать не будут. А значит, нужно писать новые, типа расширений Хрома (или адаптировать оные, ибо я уже писал, что Макстон3 - это просто Хром в кетайской шкуре, в котором для пущей маскировки (надо же, чтобы хоть что осталось от прежнего Макстона ) оставлен и IE-шный движок).

попробовал и понравилось. недостатки в том, что очень запутанный дизайн. похо понятно что и откуда. к настройкам движка долго добираться, мало опций по безопасности-конфиденцальности. ключение-выключения скриптов и активХ тоже неинформативные: непонятно, когда вкл а когда выкл. работа с кукизами тоже так себе. настройка геко взята с firefox, хотя, есть другой, более хороший браузер kmeleon.

Лунаскейп ИМХО просто демка Вебкита, фактически единственный Вебкит-браузер "с человеческим лицом". Там много чего нет. Настройки Вебкит совсем убогие. А остальные движки, так сказать, до кучи.

Насчет почему Гекко взят от Фокса - потому что в Фоксе новый Гекко, а в Хамелеоне устаревший на четыре-пять поколений.

А как подружить Lunascape, и менеджер паролей Sticky Password, плагин которого встраивается в Firefox, а вот в Lunascape не хочет?

Я так понимаю, что будут работать только те фоксовые расширения, которые не устанавливают тулбары, кнопки, не встраиваются в статус-строку, и т.п. Интерфейс-то совсем другой. В Орке то же самое - работают только расширения, встраивающиеся в контекстное меню, или работающие вообще без интерфейса (с настройками из меню Дополнения).
