Few things:
1) You are showing a jumplist, and not the "recent items" menu. The setting that controls the count is called "Max items in jumplists" or "Максимальное количество элементов в списке переходов".

2) There is no room for 30 items in the menu. You need to make the menu taller by changing "Minimum menu height" or "Минимальная высота меню"

3) The jumplists are controlled by the system and there is also a system limit to the number of items that the system keeps there. You need to look in the taskbar properties for that limit.

все сделал - огромное спасибо за совет изменил 2 пункта в меню Максимальное количество элементов переходов в меню - 30 и Минимальная высота меню-35 все получилось

Здравствуйте! Скажите - каким образом я могу в этой программе поменять шрифт моих программ? Что только не перепробывал - меняется размер самого окна - в ширину, высоту, меняется размер иконок, а шрифт на более крупный никак изменить не получается. И интерфейс почему-то на русский никак не меняется, хотя выбираю в настройках русский и программу перезапускаю

Имеется ли возможность установить программу, не обладая правами администратора системы?

The Classic Explorer and Classic IE components need to be installed by administrator.

For the start menu you can just copy the binaries somewhere and run ClassicStartMenu.exe.

However you have to find your own way to launch the exe automatically on login. On Windows 7 you can place a shortcut in the Startup folder. On Windows 8 this will start with 5-10 second delay. All known methods of starting the menu without a delay require administrator.

Also the shell extension for pinning to the start menu requires to be installed by administrator.

Do you have Nvidia Surround? It tries to move all windows above its fake taskbar, including the start menu (which is a window itself).

Спасибо за этот фикс.
Но приложения, которые находятся через поиск прикрепляются с именами из описания, а не из Desktop.ini

Например, cmd, calc...
Исправьте это пожалуйста.

I don't understand. cmd.exe and calc.exe are in the System32 folder. There's no desktop.ini there.

Вот оно как! А я репу ломаю, что с компом стало.

Кто сталкивался с такой проблемой. Windows 7 x64 Установил MSOffice 2013 и перестала функционировать опция "заменить диалоговое окно конфликта файлов", т.е. отмечай не отмечай а стандартное окно все равно появляется.
P.S. Варианты с заменой offica не предлагать.

при установке последней версий пишет вот такое . A newer version of Classic Shell is already installed.The setup will now exit.

@smalints - What is the name of the installer file? It should be ClassicShellSetup_4_1_0-ru.exe. Also, what version do you currently have? You can get the version number from the Programs and Features screen in the control panel.

у меня на новый русский релиз ругается нортон. пришлось в исключения ставить, и всё равно антивирус достаёт банером, с рекомендацией удалить зловреда.

@Classic_Shell - setup file name - ClassicShellSetup_4_1_0 ,,,, currently version 4.0.2 , but I am unistalling it before installing ClassicShellSetup_4_1_0.

So are you getting an error when you are uninstalling 4.0.2 or when you are installing 4.1.0? For best results, uninstall the old one from the control panel, reboot, then install the new version.

Может кто-нибудь подсказать, как заставить работать Classic Explorer Bar под IE11? Пробовал проделать операции из FAQ к программе, но эффект нулевой. Или IE11 пока не поддерживается? Windows 7(8) x64.

2.restart
3.and install 4.1.0 , but in 3rd step generated error

I don't know why a clean install of version 4.1.0 will give you an error "A newer version of Classic Shell is already installed". Looks like the previous version did not uninstall correctly.

You may try installing 4.0.2 again, then reboot, then uninstall it, then reboot again. Hopefully that will clear things out.

@Maikl65: Classic Explorer Bar is a toolbar for Windows Explorer. It does not work for IE (any version). The reason it shows up in the IE's toolbar menu is because Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer use a shared list of toolbars in the regsitry. There is a way to mark a toolbar in the registry as IE-only, but not as WE-only.
