То есть я правильно понимаю: в 6.01 кроме английского другого языка нет?
С английским проблем нет, просто не понимал неактивных кнопок Download в меню выбора языка и неменяющийся вариант папки для хранения локализации.

После скачивания можно эту папку переместить в любое удобное место и в настройках языка указать.
А Download становится активной, если поставить галочку на каком-нибудь языке. Вчера в наличии были русский и украинский.

Вы сейчас о версии 6.01 или предыдущих?
Если о предыдущих - вопрос снимается.
В 6.01 нет ни списка языков для скачивания ни возможности указания на папку.

Версия 6.01.01.5211 - всё есть. См. скриншот в предыдущем сообщении. Устанавливал как портабл.

Нет, так криво, всё же нужно абсолютный путь указывать.

При смене языка перестает отображаться имя регистрации "Registered to...", не знаю, влияет ли это на работу. При повторной установке лицензии все приходит в норму.
P.S.
На работу не влияет, т.к. все равно остается Ultimate, после перезагрузки машины и без повторной загрузки лицензии в About все приходит в норму.

Что сделать, чтобы можно было в Go to Offset вводить 16-ричное смещение, например, так 17D, а не так 0x0000017D?

Подскажите, пожалуйста, пример скрипта для поиска и замены в файле (длины строк могут быть разными):
1) шестнадцатеричными байтами
2) UNICODE строка
Заменять много надо, а проги для замены HEX-данных не нашёл.

Друзья, подскажите, пожалуйста, как при поиске текстовой строки задать пустой символ? Например, ищу P.L.A.Y.E.R, где "." - это пустой символ с hex-кодом 00, а не 2e. Я делаю так, перевожу Text в Hex, заменяю 2e на 00 и ищу в hex-формате. Но не покидает чувство, что есть более элегантный подход.

Жееесть ! О юникоде слышали ? Я сей редактор не юзаю (фанат винхекса), но думаю и в этом редакторе есть галка/комбобокс с выбором юникода для поиска.

UTF-16 LE (CP-1200). Говорят помогает.

Буду признателен, если вы просто скажете, как ввести с клавиатуры пустой символ в юникоде? Честно признаюсь, не имел еще с таким дела.
Если можно для конкретного случая "P.L.A.Y.E.R".

Его не надо вручную вводить ибо каждая буква в кодировках 1200/1201 (UTF-16 LE/UTF-16 BE) пробразуется в два байта (0х00nn/0xmm00) и редактор сам создаст правильный хекс-шаблон поиска. Как пример (взят похожий по поведению редактор) можно глянуть картинку что мы увидим если в поиске выбрать как условие кодировку UNICODE (не UTF-8!) - хекс-представленние строки будет иметь нужный нам вид:



большинство современных редакторов поведут себя так же, так что приём в достаточной степени универсален.

BreakPoint Hex WorkShop, но на его месте мог оказаться и Okteta или любой иной редактор, к примеру Kate или IDM UEStudio - короче говоря всё в чём можно работать с хекс/текстом ибо не так страшен чёрт как его малюют

Кто-нидь может сравнить с 010 Editor? Уже давно по привычке устанавливаю и работаю с 010, но все никак не сравню с этим
