Changes:
- A select all button has been added to the extended waveform view.
- A new feature, Quick Record, allows you to start recordings of pre-defined lengths with a single menu item. Available times can be customised through the Quick Record tab of the Application Preferences dialog.
- Audiotools can now read uncompressed audio from AVI files.
- The program could sometimes crash after recording if the File Report was enabled. This has now been fixed
Changes:
- Profiles are now saved on changing their settings, rather than with the other settings. This reduces the risk of profiles being lost in problem cases.
- The File List dialog now opens a little more quickly.
- The AVI support can now decode compressed audio from AVI files.
- The program now handles matters more gracefully if it cannot open a file in the waveform view.
- If you installed Audiotools' program icons to an existing group, the uninstaller could remove the whole group. This has now been fixed.
- If Audiotools was forced to close by Windows shutdown, it could report that it was incorrectly closed when next run. This has now been fixed.
The program now checks files (such as those in the file list) after reading settings, rather than during the read. This prevents problem files from leading to a loss of settings.
Profiles can now be backed up and restored from the Recovery dialog. The option to remove settings from very old versions (1.x,2.x) has now been removed.
The 16 colour skin didn't have a matching progress dialog. This has now been fixed.
An atomic clock sync has been added to the scheduler dialog. This allows you to guarantee the accuracy of the clock for scheduled recordings.
Sometimes the soft-cue dialog could fail to display a cue marker when opened. This has now been fixed.
