Enhanced: This version offers the advanced search capability with Boolean expression, and is very easy to use, as easy as the Google does. So you can input your words in several condition fields as follows: "With the exact phrase", "With all of the words", "With at least one of the words" and "Without the words", where the first one "With the exact phrase" is compatible with old versions. So if you don't need the advanced search capability, you can enter finding words to the "With the exact phrase" fields, leave other fields empty, Mybase will work as the old versions did.
Added: Allows multiple users to connect to view the database you're editing, so you no longer need stop editing and close if another user also needs view/search the database thru network at the same time.
Added: Custom background color for selected text, so you can make text hilighted.
Added: RTF and IE tool buttons added to the Attachment Toolbar, in order that you can conveniently open/view attachments with rtf editor or web browser without every time having to choose menu items.
Added: menu item/tool button "Open default note". It can take you to the default note pane when you're in other text file or in the web browser.
Enhanced: ability to handle relative shortcuts path, so that you can put a reference base on CD root directory, and can browse CD indexes with the Mybase or Mybase Viewer.
Enhanced: Automatically go in edit mode when a new note file added to attachment box.
Enhanced: The main tool bar didn't fit into button text width. This causes some localized information go beyond button caption area. This version will adjust tool buttons' size to suit the localized text.
Added: the option to show/hide tool buttons caption. If you work with 800x600 or smaller screen size, you may need hide button text to make tool buttons fully shown in one row beside the main menu bar, so you can save one row space, and obtain more available space to view your notes/documents in databases.
Added: the option to auto show/hide item links box as the attachment box auto show/hide feature does.
Improved: speed up selecting web files to initialize HTML/Image browse.
Fixed: Popup menus in the previous version v4.70 don't work on NT4+SP6. This version will no longer have this problem, and works on NT4+SP6 as the v4.64 and before does.
Fixed: Date picker was not initialized to Today when dialog box appears, thus you will always see 11-Aug-2002, and have to make another click on Today. This version will no longer have this problem.
Fixed: The user-defined default text font doesn't take effect when editing in a newly added node.
Fixed: The minimized icon looks like shrinked when Mybase goes in sys-tray when running on Win2000/XP. This version will show the icon correctly.
Fixed: The key combinations ctrl-1/2/5 for single/double/one-half line space were unexpectedly overrided to toggle bookmarks. So have no choice but to use else: shift-alt-1/2/5.
