У меня есть The Dirty Boogie, но:

1. Это не оригинальный диск, а копия, которую лично я делал на "Otari CDR-18" (профессиональный аппарат для записи на CDR) лет 8 назад с фирменного диска на обычную болванку. Качество звука на хорошем уровне и, естественно, CD-DA. Но поскольку, тогда же диск был дописан треками, не относящимися к The Brian Setzer Orchestra, то придётся делать потрековый rip.

2. Займусь подобным делом впервые, поэтому нужна пошаговая консультация опытных мастеров lossless-кодирования, "что-где-как" (в ПМ).

3. Канал медленный, так что не обессудьте, если выложить получится лишь на следующей неделе.

Если перечисленные "особенности" не умаляют Вашего интереса к диску, то рад буду помочь.

Да какая разница ИМХО, в принципе, у WAV файла только два качества: это CDDA (или MPEG) и целостность (начинается и заканчивается с немного тишины). Ну и еще версия конечно, т. е. качество самого произведения (но с цифровым файлом это не связано). Так что, если эти трэки у тебя CDDA, рипни их, упакуй во что нибудь и в период)

Ребят, малость оффтоп, но думаю, что пригодится многим...
Качество СД обычно проверяют с помощью auCDtect или Tay Analizer -ом, который базируется на той же auCDtect. Это несколько неудобно, ибо первая является консольной программой и работает только с вав файлами, вторая же работает только с аудио СД.
Есть ещё одна программа, которая также базируется на auCDtect, но может проверять АПЕ и ФЛАК образы / файлы на "породистость" в пакетном режиме (читай - массово).

Надеюсь, что кому-либо она пригодится...

От себя добавлю,что auCDtect не панацея...Утилита неспособна определить,врет и режется на некоторых частотах:записей СDDA выпущенных до 1995,трансфера с винила,SACD,органной музыки "50 khz master transfer",классическая музыка и etc. Утилита дает, им вердикт что это mpeg! Самый лучший тест ваши уши,хорошая аппаратура и муз.редакторы:Cool pro,Sound Forge,Adobe Audition,где можно посмотреть частоты,спектограмму и тд.Вывод сей басни,имеющий уши да услышит,доверять во многих случаях auCDtect нельзя!

13-й по счету сольный альбом, записанный Брайаном Сетзером. Содержит от тоже 13 песен, что уже начинает попахивать чертовщиной. Содержание альбома весьма нетипичное для Сетзера: стиль рокабилли представлен, фактически, всего двумя песнями - When Hepcat Gets The Blues и Really Rockabilly, остальное звучит с неожиданно сильным уклоном в хард-рок и блюз-рок, чистый блюз тоже наличествует.

Не думаю что это оффтопик... а полезно и важно. Консоли как раз очень полезные штучки и именно они сделали возможным этому парню сделать свои бэч(bat)-файли (у меня допустим свои). Любой фронтэнд замедляет работу. Вот Монки: обработал файл за 64,8 секунд
а консола за 35,3

Я не согласен. Как раз во многих случаях auCDtect можно доверять (а панацей нет и наверно не будет...). По моему опыту он работает на всех 90 - 95 %! Да, он ошибается: может сказать что CDDA -- это MPEG но я еще не видел что бы он MPEG определил как CDDA и это важно. Если можешь доказать или показать обратное -- я охотно посмотрю. Согласен на все 100%. То, что отмечено как МПЕГ уже проверяется "ручками", по спектру...
Кстати, про спектр...
Я смотрю спектр также и "вручную" - в Adobe Audition (ex-Cool Edit). Для открытия в нём лослессов напрямую, без перекодирования в вав можно добавить к программе фильтров.

Есть ещё одна перспективная софтинка (консольная), делает снимки сонограмм для апе и флак файлов и сохраняет их в папках этих файлов. Позднее можно просмотрть эти картинки и весьма шустро выявить "самозванцев". Программка ещё сырая, но если автор её не бросит, то будет полезнейшая штука.

Вот, насочинял тут за вечер.

Собственно за один день до ума не доведешь, но что-то хорошее вышло.

Вобщем если просто так не работает, то надо качать второй архив.
Кроме того, программа пока(?) консольная.
В качестве параметра просит маску файлов.

или вообще
AuSpec_Pre.exe "C:\MyMusic\Artist\*"
думаю с этим понятно.
Итак. Программка кушает файлы mp3, ogg, wav, aiff, mp2, mp1, wma, ape, flac
И выдает в туже папку png-картинку со спектрограммой внутри. И сетку рисует.
Никаого звукового редактора или чего другого ставить не надо.
Потом смотрим картинки где нравится и делаем выводы.

Я часто и по многу имею с этим дело, поэтому вот собственная попытка облегчить себе жизнь.
"Traders Tool: Structurator v 1.0.4a - ТЕСТОВАЯ ВЕРСИЯ! программа, позволяющая выполнить массовое переименование папок альбомов и треков по заданному шаблону на основе информации, полученной из имён папок и файлов.
Также, с помощью программы можно исправить имена и регистр в cue-файлах, упорядочить содержимое альбомов (обложки, тексты, видео) и почистить альбомы от нежелательных "мусорных" файлов."

В альбом вошли песни совсем в разных жанрах (а When The Bells Don't Chime - в двух разных аранжировках: как рок-н-ролл c некоторым оттенком кантри и как блуграсс). Поэтому определить стилистику альбома сложно. На "Амазоне" его записали в retro-swing, ориентируясь, очевидно, по предыдущим работам Brian Setzer Orchestra, но в целом альбом скорее рок-н-ролльный.
