Поэкспериментировал с auCDtect (строка: auCDtect.exe -v -mS0 *.wav > auCDtest.log) на примере одного и того же диска:
Gerald Albright "New Beginnings" -- 2006.

Сделал два варианта: в первый раз - образ целиком, во второй - потреково.
Log'и получились диаметрально противоположными.

Всегда полагался на собственные уши, "избалованные хорошей аппаратурой", и считал, что звук на диске вполне соответствует Audio-CD. Чему здесь верить?

И второй вопрос -- To All: "Интересен ли диск читающим топик и, если да, то какой вариант заливать?"

BetterLink
auCDtect работает с использованием преобразования Фурье. При увеличении числа обрабатываемых точек (звуков в данном случае) объем вычислений растет катастрофически. Как я подозреваю, отдельные треки прога обрабатывает более-менее честно, а с большими файлами (вроде образа всего диска) начинает халтурить, либо берет только каждую n-ую точку (двадцатую, скажем), либо как-то еще старается облегчить себе работу. Отсюда и результат.

Фурье -- не Фурье но результат auCDtect в Win98 ш WinXP отличается. Это очень странно и меня сильно удивляет. По твоему делу: XPEHOMETP запросто может оказаться правим. Мол, по идеи, чем больше материала для анализа, тем и сам анализ точнее должен быть. Но тут... никак не факт... если CDImage MPEG, тогда хоть один из трэеков должен быть MPEG. 1. Сделай screenshot спектра (CDImage). 2. Сделай MP3 а потом из него WAV и снова screenshot спектра (туда и обратно -- помнишь эту ссылку?)

Не уверен, что есть человек, который, желая найти этот диск, до сих пор этого не сделал.
Пусть даже он есть у всех на форуме -- всё равно выкладываю.

Классический альбом Queen...

Об этом альбоме не нужно ничего писать -- всё уже написано и сказано.
Остаётся слушать и получать удовольствие.

Данный вариант CD -- "штатовский" remastered-релиз, выпущенный Hollywood Records 3-го сентября 1991 г.
От оригинального издания отличается лишь наличием бонус-треков (которые, впрочем, на любителя).

Конечно, хотелось бы найти более свежий, коллекционный вариант -- скажем, сделанный в последние 3-4 года.
Да и ремастеринг сейчас делают заметно тщательнее.
Но, как говорится, что есть, тем и делюсь.

В архиве образ диска в *.ape, cue-файл (для *.wav) и отчёты.
К сожалению, no covers.

Альбом бывшего басиста Stray Cats Ли Рокера, выпущенный немецкой фирмой. Поэтому, наверно, практически все обзорчики этого альбома были на немецком, который я нихт ферштейн. Альбомчик мощный и симпатичный. Было, конечно, интересно, как Ли Рокер будет петь песню Rock This Town, один из хитов Stray Cats. Эта изначально веселая песня оказалась переписанной в минор, и исполнение Рокера со товарищи отдает каким-то противоестественным грустным весельем. Очень, надо сказать, необычно получилось!

Да, действительно хрипит. Приношу свои извинения. Диск мне когда-то подарили и я давным давно его не слушал.
Для поклонников Диско-80х - у меня есть диск Joy "Best". Компаха фирменная, произведённая в Австрии.
