* Browser based help supports keyword index: Browser based help now supports a keyword index in addition to the table of contents and advanced synchronization when you open a particular topic directly. Example:

* Impict with lines, arrows and callouts: Impict comes with two new object types: a line object (for simple lines and arrows) and a more complex callout object which combines text with a shape and a pointer:
* Nested text variables: text variables can be nested which means you can construct text variables that contain other text variables.
* Variable replace: Replaces text variable values defined in the help project with values from an external file. This enables you to replace some or all of the variables in your project with other values without changing the embedded variables. For example, you can use an external file to compile an evaluation version with different titles etc.
* Improved table formatting: the table dialog box offers to modify column widths manually and support background colors. Grid lines are scaled more accurately in the print manual.
* Fix for the black images bug on Windows XP: this bug occurred on several Windows XP systems, screen shots appeared as black rectangles in PDF files and in the print manual.
* New Topics menu entry: "Find Referrers" generates a small report that lists all topics that refer to the current.
* Project report: the full project report now lists anchors, macros and Internet links.
* Find & Replace: the search entry box supports a drop-down list and remembers recent searches.
* Change status short cut was changed to Shift + Alt + S because the old short cut is a character in several east-european languages.
* HTML topic templates: the default template now creates less space between topic header and text.
* HTML HELP: the index tab was always visible, even if no keyword index was available. Help & Manual now automatically hides the keyword index tab in compiled HTML HELP files if no keywords were defined.
* Impict remembers the color depth when it opens an image.
* Topic status (automatic setting after topic changes): spell checker corrections do not longer automatically change the status of the topic, as a misspelled word is not meant to be a change of the content of the topic. The date/time stamp of the topic is updated though.
