Товарищи, подскажите плиз в чем проблема и чё делать!!! Винда ХР не определяет вторичную (secondary) видеокарту, а я использую два монитора. Видюха - Radeon 9550, дрова - Catalyst 5.7.

Подскажите плиз, это проблема дров, самой видюхи (аппаратная трабла) или это из-за винды?

До этого стояла ХР Pro Corporate Ru и Catalyst 3.10. Потом переставил на ХР Pro Corporate En и все пошло к черту... переустановка Catalyst не помогла.

Причем, потом я форматнул диск и поставил Ru - проблема не исчезла.

а сервис пак какой?
без пака у меня вторую голову тоже не находило
потом с первым все ok(это когда у меня был R8500)
Проблема может быть и в дровах от матери
переустанови их, желательно с диска от матери, а потом можно ставить и новый, т.к. сейчас любят выпускать обрезаные или апдейты

Сервис Пак 2. Дрова от матери ставить не пробовал, т.к. точно знаю, что если их поставить, начнуться глюки с другими

Поставил, толку нет. Блин, даже не знаю что и делать.

Filoret Спасибо за советы и помощь, но проблема оказалась аппаратной. Полетел какой-то чип... Забрали на гарантийный ремонт

Что лучше ставить: Omega, ForSage, UniAN...?
Чем они лучше/хуже стандартных дров? Чем пользуетесь Вы?
Сейчас сижу на Catalyst 5.7 - откровенных глюков не наблюдал...
Стоит ли ставить последнюю Omega WinXP2k v2.6.53? Что будет лучше для разгона?

У меня сейчас ngo стоит
разницы между всеми ними мало
в ngo правда есть оптимизация конкретно на 256mb и на 128 - хотя не знаю что будет если поставить оптимизацию 128mb(на моей 256мб)

Эти драйвера уже разогнаны.
Там отключены ненужные лишние функции.
Но для разгона видеокарт исрользуй прогу Power Strip.
По моему так называется.

В идеале (для меня) - Forsage + Ati Tray Tools. Но, т.к. Forsage 5.7 не вышел, пришлось ставить родные драйвера.
Надеюсь, Forsage 5.8 выйдет...

фиксы ничего но имхо стоит релиза уж подождать. тем более что один день погоды полюбому не сделает

Sentinel а что это за такие дрова,первый раз вижу и слышу,сайт у них есть?

Возникли проблемы при установке Catalyst 5.4 для видеокарты Radeon9200, выводится номер ошибки:0*80040707 и далее сообщение: "Unadle to load ATICIM.dll". На форуме сайта Radeon2Ru советуют почистить систему программой Driver Cleaner, но проблема осталась, не удается установить и старый драйвер.
У меня установлена вторая WinXP, чистая, только драйвер на мат. плату и видеокарту, там все установилось нормально. Помогите, пожалуйста, решить эту проблему.

Уважаеая Elena1966, во первых вы не правильно написали пояснение к выдаваемой ошибке. Не Unadle, а Unable. То есть, система сообщает вам о невозможности загрузки файла ATICIM.dll. Этот файл является установочным и служит сугубо для ленивой установки драйвера, то есть посредством инсталлятора. Есть ещё один способ установки. Скорее всего им вам и надо будет воспользоваться. Это установка распакованного драйвера через "диспетчер устройств" Вам будет необходимо указать *.inf файл драйвера и таким образом проинсталлировать его. Если вы не в курсе как это сделать, сообщите. Думаю вам помогут, в том числе и я.
Относительно утилиты DCpro, которую вам посоветовали, я всё же порекомендую для полной очистки системы использовать официальную утилиту-деинсталлятор, котрую вы можете скачать на сайте ATi в разделе драйверов.

эту утилиту я использовала, но проблема в том, что не устанавливается весь Catalyst 5.4 и я не могу настроить комп нужным мне образом. На второй WinXP все установилось как следует, и я не могу понять что мешает установке на первой. Все же хочется найти проблему, а не переустанавливать систему
