Фейк - это подделка. Эта программа такая же, как и китайские джинсы, автомобили, плееры, телефоны. Она тоже может долго носится, возможно даст Вам выжить после аварии, если скорость не больше 70 км, током не ударит, в игрушки поиграетесь, но Вы никогда не будете уверены, что Вы используете оригинальный продукт, что Вами кто-то дорожит (с Вами есть обратная связь).

Я читал. На сайте говорится только о формате 7z. Ещё говорится на форуме, что они использовали только 7-Zip SDK, который доступен под PD. Но, в их исходниках есть часть кода, которой нет в SDK, а есть в общих исходниках.

Я о том же, просто пока выходит, что это сделано не с целью взлома. Я даже не отрицаю, что это, скорее всего, твердо полукачественный продукт.

Программку даже переводить и не надо, все уже в WR переведено. Причем, качественно, в течении десятка лет.

Не знаю, проверить на других машинах возможности нет. У меня все работает. Попробуй полностью снести английскую версию и установить "с нуля"...

Вот я скачал оный продукт с ихнего офсайта (или как его там), но теперь меня еще большие чем раньше сумнения гложут поставить его...

сомнения в том, что слишком уж круто никому доселе неизвестный продукт вдруг набрал популярность, и тут же появился троян, косящий под него...

Корейские KMPlayer взлетел не менее стремительно... У PotPlayer офсайт только на корейском... Ну, а если коситься на каждую программу под которую маскируют вирусы - тогда надо начинать с самой Windows, в смысле различных библиотек и т.п.
В принципе, любая программа загружаемая из инета несет потенциальную опасность - каждый решает сам, на какой риск он готов пойти... И, естественно, про осторожность забывать не следует.

Я думаю здесь до этого ещё далеко, ещё не взлетел даже. Да и плееры дело более тонкое, народ к ним куда более придирчив. Я лично пока не вижу препятствий для широко распространения этого архиватора.

А по поводу "зелёности" продукта, судя по их форуму он довольна таки взрослый, ну по крайней мере "усат" это точно.
Первая версия 1.6.3329 засветилась там аж 2009-11-20

А зачем с переводом намудрили - не проще ли автору послать "HaoZipLang_rus.dll" и он поправит прогу, чтобы она подхватывала любые языки , а для "HaoZipLang_rus.dll" пока что пишем в HaoZipLang.ini ручками - так и англицкий остается и не надо качать всю прогу с переводом =) Как вариант - патчим прогу сами - но это не по джидайски как-то =)

как можно сделать название проги на английском при встраивании в контекстное меню? сейчас там иероглифы хотя при установке был выбран английский язык и сама она на английском
