Подскажите, пожалуйста, как можно сменить тип сервера уже созданной учетной записи с pop3 на imap4?
Вообще, такое возможно?
И всё-таки, как сделать, чтобы видно было сколько писем всего в папке?

Инструменты - Настройки - Дополнительно - Основные параметры - Показывать дополнительные колонки в окне дерева папок.

Никак. Удаляй старую запись, добавляй новую.

9. Added a new menu item under File / Open Saved Message that allows you to open .eml files from your desktop. Thanks to Robert Accettura for working on this patch. Moved the old "Open Messsage" menu item (which is used for opening a message into a stand alone message window) over to the Messages menu where it belongs.
10. Dragging attachments from a message window to the compose window caused the attachment to get added with the name "Attached Message Part" instead of the actual attachment name. Also made the attachmen box in the compose window smarter about showing the correct content type icon next to the attachment name.
11. Ctrl-K now moves focus into the quick search bar in the main mail window.
12. The automated Windows build still contains the new junk controls.

Known Issues
-----------------
1. Error when trying to forward a message (mscott investigating)
2. one pixel space above the message pane scrollbars. I don't know what is causing that.

Что-то не как не пойму как в последних билдах сделать поточный вид с обратной сортировкой по дате. Т.е. как это сделать правильно, а не после разных левых ухищрений.

Я бы ответил, если бы знал что такое поточный вид По обсуждениям (Threaded view) что ли?

Тогда по английски. Строчка Threaded view просто переехала в другое место не так давно.

Соответственно идем в View - Sort by и включаем там:
Threaded - поточный вид
Descending - с обратной сортировкой
Date - по дате.

Попробовал версию от 6 апреля - отлично работает

Папка и есть текстовый файл, где хранятся письма. В TB папки с письмами - обычные файлы вида plaintext.
Это было обьяснено 2 страницы назад.

Смысл ясен из названия - сделать из почтового клиента аську

Вот всем мне нравится громоптица, но никак не могу найти, где можно создавать шаблоны, к примеру, на ответ... чтобы имя подставлялось, дата, цитировалось... Так как в Зэ Бэте.
Или пока нету такой возможности? Если так, то я очень растроюсь

Mousing over the friendly display name shows a tooltip with the email address. the addresss context menu also shows the email address. For those of you (I'm sure there will be ) that don't like this, you can easily turn it off: Tools / Options / Advanced / General Settings.

4) When starting up a new profile, don't assume the user's resolution is 800x600, giving us a very small 3-pane window on first launch for high resolution screens. Instead, take a look at the current resolution and try to pick a sane initial width and height.

5) The UA for the branch build is version 0.6a (just a reminder)

6) Pinstripe for OS X has several bug improvements including the return of status indicators in the message list pane (for replied, forwarded, and mark as deleted). (Thanks Kevin!)

7) You can now Open attachments from the mail compose window. (double click the attachment or right click on the attachment and select Open). This is an easy way to double check the contents of your attachments before you send your message.

8) As always, the automated windows build includes the new junk controls.

I'll post a weekly test build for the trunk (which has a lot more feature work on it, but less stability/bug regressions) tomorrow or Thursday depending how the bits look.

Кроме фирменного инсталлера в сборку включены также некоторые русифицированные расширения. У кого есть возможность, потестируйте и делайте замечания.
Хотелось бы выловить баги, пока еще не вышел TB 0.6

Не подскажите, можно ли в Тандерберде квотинг настроить фидошный... ну и вообще, адаптировать его к чтению и написанию в фидошные эхоконференции. X-Comment-To и т.д.
