Mozilla mail?
What's New For Testing
1. Offline users can now access their global offline settings from Tools / Options / Advanced / Offline and Connection Settings.
2. If you try to close the RSS subscriptions dialog while we are still subscribing to a feed, you get a prompt confirming your decision, letting you know that dismissing the dialog in the middle of a subscription will abort the subscription.
3. The quick search bar drop down marker on OS X is no longer getting verticall stretched.
4. The quick search text box on OS X no longer allows characters to spill past the end of the search bar.
5. You can now choose the RSS account in the advanced search dialog.
6. When migrating Eudora and Outlook profiles to Thunderbird, we now handle folders that have a '/' character in their name.
7. When forwarding HTML messages as inline, we weren't including the header information for the forwarded message.
8. Master password is now off by default. If you want to encrypt your saved passwords you have to go to Tools / Options / Advanced / Saved Passwords / Master Password... and enable it.
9. The migration wizard for OS X and Unix no longer show migration sources that don't exist like Outlook and Outlook Exprss.
10. Fixed a regression in last week's build where quick search for message body text was not working for POP3 accounts.
11. You can now check for new RSS feeds every x minutes.
12. You can now export address book data again. This was a regression in earlier 0.8 test builds.
Known Issues
1. Folder compaction on an RSS account causes Thunderbird to forget the URL associated with the feed.
2. You can't delete or rename RSS folders on Mac and Unix cleanly.
Things to look forward to
0.8 Release Candidate Build later this week.
0.8 Release Notes draft later this week.
Now this is NOT a jar file you can install like another theme. I haven't packed it yet because it's not finished and i will only have a look at the packaging procedure once it's in a release state.
It should be possible to use it by replacing my qute.jar file with the default one provided with thunderbird.

What's New For Testing
1. The version string has been bumped to 0.8 to help test out the new extension manager changes. Any extensions that aren't listed on update.mozilla.org as being compatible with 0.8 will get disabled upon first launch.
2. Minor RSS improvements to better handle aggregate feeds like planet.mozilla.org and feedhouse.
3. Regression Fix: Forwarding inline attachments fails to include the message headers. Editing a draft fails to display the draft contents.
4. Added UI for emptying Local Folders Trash. A big help for Global Inbox users. (Tools / Account Settings / Local Folders)
5. The default biff interval for checking for new RSS feeds has been increased to reduce server load.
6. When migrating eudora mailboxes, map the eduroa mime type tag: <x-rich> to text/enriched instead of text/html.
7. Hook up check for new messages for movemail users on Linux.
Known Issues
1. If you have multiple Thunderbird profiles and you click on a http url, we fail to start up Firefox. (Currently a 0.8 blocker).
2. Read the release notes draft for more Known Issues:
http://www.mozilla.org/products/thunderbird/releases/0.8-release-notes.html
Look for a 0.8 release candidate at the end of the week and then an actual release early next week if there aren't any problems in the RC.
This new extension provides a GUI to the following prefs:
1) Displaying the date in 'Date' column in the threadpane. The following formats are available:
- No date (23:27)
- Weekday (Fr 23:27)
- Year/Month (2004/09 23:27)
- Short (06.09.2004 23:27)
- Long (Monday, 06. September 2004 23:27)
2) Displaying the date in message header:
In normal case Thunderbird is displaying the Sent Time in message headers adapted to your time zone. But sometimes it is usefull to have the original Sent Time. There is a hidden option to display the original date string instead of the formated date in message headers. The 'Date' column is not affected by this option.

Mozilla Thunderbird в каталог "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Thunderbird", скопируйте файлы в "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Thunderbird\chrome").
