Known Issues

1. Folder compaction on an RSS account causes Thunderbird to forget the URL associated with the feed.
2. You can't delete or rename RSS folders on Mac and Unix cleanly.

А нет ли похожего исследования с точки зрения RU-юзеров? Потому что тот же SpamBayes хорош, но вот кириллицу вообще не понимает.

Мне очень обидно, что MouseImp не работает в MT. Может, кто знает похожий софт, который позволяет таскать окна зажатой правой кнопкой и в MT?

Скачал по ссылке из шапки ТВ 0.7.3-win32.zip. Закачка прошла на ура без единой заминки, с равномерной скоростью. Тем не менее - облом... Файлы из архива не извлекаются, хотя весь состав его в WinRAR'e можно увидеть. Это только я такой невезучий?

У меня с фильтрами проблема:
мне нужно, чтобы входящие и исходящие с одного и того же адреса помещались в отдельную папку. Если делать два отдельных фильтра на входящие и исходящие письма, то всё работает. Если же писать условия в одном фильтре, то он срабатывет только на входящую почту.

Условия:
match any of follwing
sender is address@mail.ru
to is address@mail.ru

move to folder address-folder

Решил попробовать Птицу, скачал 0.8 версию, поставил. Скачал русификатор отсюда http://www.mozilla.ru/unghost/thunderbird/0.8/thunderbird-0.8-20040907-ruRU-langpack.xpi, ставлю его как написано там же http://www.mozilla.ru/unghost/thunderbird/install.html#i2

1. Скачайте русификацию для соответствующей версии Mozilla Thunderbird из раздела Русификации. Если вы скачиваете русификацию при помощи браузеров Mozilla или Mozilla Firefox выберите из контекстного меню "Сохранить как..", чтобы сохранить файл на диске. Номер версии и билда можно узнать через пункт меню Help - About в Mozilla Thunderbird.

2. Инсталлируйте русификацию как расширение. Для этого войдите в меню Tools - Extensions, и нажмите кнопку Install. Выберите скачанный вами файл и нажмите OK. Закройте Mozilla Thunderbird.

3. Перегрузите Mozilla Thunderbird.

4. Перейдите в меню Tools - Extensions.

5. Найдите в списке установленных расширений русификацию (Thunderbird Russian) и нажмите правую клавишу мыши.

Вот решил опять потестить софтинку (год назад пробовал, понравилась , но показалась сыроватой). Поставил 0.8, руссофицировал и пошла руда... Но практически сразу возник вопрос, как выбивать побитые аттачи с ньюсов?

Вот еще несколько вопросов:

1. Нафига нужна папка "Шаблоны"? Или только для того, чтобы от туда делать copy-paste?
2. Как сделать, чтобы в конце письма при ответе автоматом добавлялся некоторый текст.
3. Как сделать, чтобы в начале письма при ответе можно было бы добавлять текст с русскими буквами? По доке нашел как вообще добавлять заголовок, но с русскими словами он заголовок не добавляет.

В окне составления сообщения: Файл - Сохранить как - Шаблон.
Для составления сообщения по шаблону идешь в папку "Шаблоны" и открываешь сохраненный шаблон.

Инструменты - Параметры учетной записи - Подпись.

Спасибо, пойду пробовать.

1. Почему-то не стало возможности выбора кодировки при написании писем, стоит только Кирилица-Windows(1251), как можно добавить KOI-8 ? Некоторые конференции требуют писем в KOI.
2. Как удалить из Вид/Кодировка - Западноевропейская (ISO-8859-1)?
Нажимаю настроить список и удаляю там, а она всё равно есть... Хотя не очень напрягает, но всё же не порядок.
3. Подскажите прибамбас для сворачивания Птицы в трэй, и как его грамотно настроить, а то в инглише не силен.
4. Возможно ли подключить Глобальную адресную книгу, как в MS Outlook, и как это сделать.
5. Как правильно удалять поставленные расширения?

Thundertray или TBTray
Настраивать не надо. Просто запускаешь вначале эту приблуду, а потом кликаешь на ней в трее и запускается Thunderbird
