Я обращаю внимание только на длительность фильма, а не на объем файла, и Вам советую. 4 часа на одной болванке- нормально. На обычном телеке разницу в качестве не почувствуете (оно зависит, в основном, от качества источника).
При большей длительности- качество падает и где-то к 6 часам- полный отстой.

Там очень много написано и не совсем понятно.
ЗЫ: У меня Portable и нормально работает, для себя не вижу смысла устанавливать. Но возможно другие будут иного мнения.
И спасибо за ссылку с разъяснением о приоритетах программ.
VSO ConvertXtoDVD нравится и тем, что она хорошо сочетается с работой других приложений: браузер, игры, торрент.. Некоторые например жалуются, что другие конвертёры вносят глюки в работу ОС.

у меня после конвертации звук отдельно, видео отдельно, причем записываю два фильма, а такая ерунда только в одном. что я делаю не так?

Версия 4.2 Win 7-64.
Начинаю конвертить фильм в два прохода, прога не предупреждает о ошибках, но, после нескольких минут кодировки (я так понял, что по окончанию первого эпизода) прога перескакивает на второй проход и через пару минут заканчивая работу КОРРЕКТНО. В результате получается DVD, состоящее из первого эпизода (первые минут 10 фильма).
Раньше никогда такого не было, а сейчас второй фильм за последнюю неделю. При этом я уже перекачивал другие варианты этого же фильма - ТО ЖЕ САМОЕ.
Комповые проигрыватели воспроизводят нормально.
Что может быть? Косяки в исходниках или у меня таки в проге что-то отпало?

5.0.75 - определяет вместо примерно 2-х часового фильма как 533 минуты
Кодирование даже не запускал, но подозреваю, что ничего не получится.
Гугль перерыл - никто не вспоминает о чем-то подобном. ((

Попробуйте запустить другую версию этой программы, например 5.0.0.75

Вопрос такой,реально ли с помощью этой проги перекодировать mkv фильм,протяженностью,скажем,часа 4 на 2 двд9,т.е не чтобы программа не весь фильм сживала в двд9,а указать ей что кодировать надо в несколько дисков?(т.е автоматом при кодировании разбивать на некоторое количество физических болванок ) Если нет,то может(хоть и оффтоп),подскажем какой прогой.А то ей фильм "Однажбы в Америке",хочеться с 5-7 дорожками перекодировать,но двд9 одной болванки мало будет так как продолжительность большая)

У меня вопрос по 5 версии: скажите пожалуйста, как можно создать диск ТОЛЬКО с меню чаптеров, без ROOT меню?

У меня установленная версия 5.1.0.2 Проблема с отображением русских субтитров:

Как-нибудь можно их сделать читабельными ?

Ну почему умер? Просто в силу новизны и косячности новой версии ею массово не пользуются и ответить некому. Насколько я понимаю алгоритмы обработки видео в программе не изменились поэтому если не нужны новые функции можно и в старой 4-ой версии поработать.

Я конвертирую дочке мультики, чтобы смотреть в машине. Проигрыватель понимает только DVD.
Раньше мог добавить на диск кучу эпизодов, например "Смешариков", и меня программа предупреждала, что качество конвертации будет хреновое, но зато все умещалось.
Качество меня интересовало не очень, т.к. смотрим на маленьком экране.
А сейчас при попытке сконвертировать файлы, у меня после конвертации программа показывает, что "переполнение столько-то Мб и столько-то %". И отказывается записывать диск.

Как, блин, сказать этой программе, что если я ей сказал размер DVD диска, так пусть она ужимает качество так, чтобы уместилось на DVD диске?

Так она итак в зависимости от длительности выдаёт результат Хороший-Приемлемый-Конвертация невозможна ещё до начала конвертации после добавления файлов.
ЗЫ: Вы экономите болванки? Зачем такое количество. И дело не только в качестве, но и в продолжительности конвертации. А вдруг сбой или свет отключат? И всё по новой....

В том-то и дело. Выдает результат Хороший или Приемлемый, а при записи говорит, что на диск не умещается.
В ранних версиях умещала все, а сейчас приходится удалять файлы по одному и конвертировать заново.

На диске умещается примерно 80-85 эпизодов. На конвертацию на моей машине уходит 15 минут. UPS позволяет продержаться компьютеру примерно 30 минут без света, а бензогенератор с автозапуском, который питает мой дом в аварийном режиме, позволяет спокойно прожить примерно сутки в автономке на одном баке.
Нет, я не экономлю на болванках. ))

Именно так я и сделала когда то.

Вы пишите диски писалкой от VSO ConvertXtoDVD ? попробуйте записывать диски другой программой. Несколько раз тоже обращал внимание на то, что после конвертации ConvertXtoDVD показывал в логах о превышении размера. К примеру ImgBurn показывал что размер нормальный, умещается на диск и записывал диск без ошибок и проблем.

Я пользуюсь вот этой уже несколько лет, и никаких глюков. Ссылку на скачивание ключа активации и установочный файл программы отправила вам в личку.
