ISO скопируется целиком, но если там что-то типа старфорса (защита основанная на физических повреждениях носителя), то Alcohol 52%/120%. Первый только копировщик, второй включает его и бесплатный эмулятор оптических устройств Alcohol 68%. Либо Vso Software BlibdWrite. Вроде насколько помню больше некому.

А региональная защита при копировании игнорируется устройством т.к. оно считывает носитель побитно без анализа файловой структуры. Региональные и прочие DRM вступают в игру на уровне плееров, это они переключают регионы в устройстве, а само оно по умолчанию обычно в нулевой выставлено.

Если я неверно решил поставленную вами задачу, то давайте уточним вводную.

А вводная сводилась к тому, что, перепробовав несколько (собственно, четыре) программ для копирования DVD на HDD, пришёл к плачевному выводу, что DVDFab справляется с этой задачей хуже других (трёх), что выражается в уменьшении количества байтов по сравнению с оригиналом.

Тогда согласен, но у DVDFab есть особенность - он не снимает ISO, а копирует со снятием защиты и пересчётом фильма. Так что меньше не обязательно хуже в части качества.

да... поставил я 9-ю версию этого чуда. Ужасный интерфейс по сравнению с 8.х и предыдущими.
никаких настроек качества конвертации BD в DVD.

Диалектика - если не сжимать к примеру DVD9 -> DVD5, не хуже, если сжать выходной поток - потери данных от сжатия вылезут.

Есть BD3D ISO файлик. В нём видео 1920*800+черные полосы размером 280px
DVDFab режит их автоматом! Не нашел галки как отключить эту функцию. Может кто подскажет как сделать rip, чтоб остались черные полоски? Ведь изображение телек растягивает.
Или может добавить их чем-то можно без перекодирования?
