На серверной рассчитываю на б_о_льшую функциональность, хочу сэкономить на
трафике, так как есть шанс что и на сервера рискну поставить. (да и для рейдов по мнению Sish лучше серверный вариант, даже под XP)

И как сможешь сказать кто из них меньше ресурсов потребляет ?

А может кто-нибудь объяснить, почему даже для версии
PerfectDisc 8.0.0.48 WorkStation потребовалось в выполнить давать команду

regsvr32 ole32.dll

Пока я этого не сделал - программа не видела разделы.
При всем при этом никаких сообщений о том что интерфейс не зарегистрирован - не было.

Может кто-нибудь обЪяснить почему Raxco до сих пор не исправила эту проблему?
Она из-за этого теряет не достаточно просвященных по этой проблеме клиентов.
Это у ее программеров просто руки кривые или Microsoft непонятно зачем свинью подкладывает ?

Просто у тебя, видно, какая-то софтина делает (или один раз сделала) regsvr32 /u ole32.dll. Вот у этих ребят руки-то и кривые.
Причем здесь Raxco?

Эээ... "лекарство" и "варезный продукт" есть несколько разные вещи, ритэйл PD насколько я знаю не ломаный и не кряканый, просто добывается из варезных источников... Сорри за оффтоп.

Подскажите, пожалуйста, как заставить Raxco PerfectDisk дефрагментировать файлы >1.9 гб? На диске 4 образа vist'ы, не один не может дефрагментировать, тогда как Diskeeper может, но оставляет фрагментированным свободное пространство.

Perfect Disk, вообще-то, замечательный дефрагментатор, НО!
Ни одна сборка как не умела, так и не умеет "обходить" MFT и MFT Zone. Файлы просто тупо "облегают" эту область с обеих сторон, тем самым оставаясь фрагментированными.
Как-то не умеет PD рассчитывать то, что, если файл больше по размеру, чем свободное пространство больше свободного места, оставшегося перед MFT.
Вот так.

PD для меня программа новая и может что-то недопонял.
Юзал дискипер он видел флэшку и даже ее дефрагментировал.
PD на такое способен?
