Вы не могли бы проверить с указанной мной версией TeraCopy Pro 2.1? Если надо, могу скинуть куда-нибудь на обменник файлы этой версии.
Если для файлов descript.ion не поддерживается ни одна из существующих Юникод-кодировок, то какой смысл особо подчёркивать, что именно вот UTF-16 (в числе прочих Юникодов) тоже не поддерживается?
