Да уж, грустненько. Второй Бред был замечательный, а третий странный. Вообще, по распухаемости на Микрософт похоже.
А из "блокнотов" лучше всего стандартный Write

У меня переодически в разных версиях не добавляется в контекстное меню надпись Открыть в Notepad++, хотя при установке всегда оставляю галку: Добавить в контекстное меню. Последняя версия где такая надпись добавлялась была 3.7. К сожалению я её поторопился удалить. У кого нибудь она осталась? Пожалуйста, залейте на обменник или импортните из реестра значение, которое отвечает за эту функцию и скопируйте в пост.

скачал сабж с комплектом плагинов FX - есть форматирование блока Edit:Rewrap Text - но только по шрине 72 и без отступа абзаца

можно ли задать другую ширину и отсуп абзаца?
